Occupancy: Accommodates 1 - 2 guests
Sleeping arrangements: One queen bedroom downstairs, one queen bedroom in loft.
Bathroom: Private bathroom shared between occupants.
Relaxation: Kitchen table and chairs, and 2 loveseats in this rustic cabin are great for a quiet night before sleep. Also includes a front sitting porch with two rocking chairs plus a rear deck. In the yard are three Adirondack chairs and a picnic table with umbrella.
Kitchen: Full kitchen with stove, sink, and fridge.
Accessibility: All cabins are 3-5 minutes around the bend from the Heartstone Lodge. You must be comfortable driving at night on country dirt and gravel roads, be comfortable with the dark nights and appreciate the rustic, yet modernized historic log cabins. There are two steps to the entry door. Loft guest must be comfortable with narrow-steepish steps to bedroom.
Rate: $787.92 for single occupancy, queen bed, 4 nights

This cabin, created from chestnut logs, was home for 14 yrs to a nationally known nature writer & professor. Homesteader's cabin sits above the confluence of 2 rivers, overlooks one of the 4 hay fields and is shaded by a centuries old Spanish Oak tree.
